Filter cover?

Hello all. I own a 2021Durango Hellcat. I have never owned a Durango, but was wondering if this was normal. Under the View attachment 116757 hood on the passenger side towards the windshield. I noticed what looks to be the cabin filter. You can pull some plastic cover over the filter. It is loose. Looks like a gasket where cover ends. I put a piece of tape to hold cover closed to take a picture. Not sure if this is supposed to be closed or open. Does anyone know? View attachment 116755 View attachment 116756

Up until 2019 or 2020, there was a downward-facing snorkel over that so you couldn't see it. Later models had no snorkel. Not sure why they did away with that, but suppose weight/cost reduction. Or maybe it didn't do much. Looks like it had to go anyway on the Hellcat, to make room for that cross-brace my SRT doesn't have.

Mind if I drift a little OT....So for the HC are there special replacement parts like plastic rivets needed for an oil change because of the extra shrouding/flat bottom pieces....i.e do I need to specifically ask a dealer if they have the parts necessary for an oil change..
